Reuters Institute is offering the Wincott Business Journalist Fellowship for mid-career journalists living in sub-Saharan Africa, with a chance to grow and develop themselves, so that they can give back to the industry and carry out media-based research while being a part of the University of Oxford, studying with an international cohort of journalists and academics.

Eligibilities
Eligibilities:
- Expertise in English
- Minimum 5 years of journalistic experience or equivalent level or expertise
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications has to be made online with the following materials:
- A full curriculum vitae
- A personal statement outlining including the applicant’s journalistic values, major trends in the media landscape in which ze works, and a summary of what ze thinks would contribute to the Fellowship program
- A statement of up to 1,000 words explaining their proposed research project
- Reference and approval from their employer
- A second professional reference
- A sample of their work
- Recommendations from two people
- Three articles or reports, including dates and names of the publication; accompanying with their English translation, if is written in any other language
- Applicants in managerial or editorial positions for whom it would be difficult to send work samples has to include a statement of up to 500 words describing your work
