Context

Working under the overall direction of the National Customer Service Officer and direct supervision of Wave System Admin Senior User Support Associate, the intern will assist with the operational activities of the Global Shared Services Centre Wave Support team. Tasks will include:

Core Functions / Responsibilities

  • Production users accounts for creation and troubleshooting
  • Roles and permissions management
  • Lower environments permissions management
  • Execution of system maintenance tasks such as job scheduling and running, script execution, database queries

Education

  • Recent graduates from an accredited academic institution are eligible to apply. The role is open to graduates in computer science, or related fields.

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience

  • Prior internship experience is highly desirable, but not required.

Skills 

  • Information System administration
  • Active directory
  • Single Sign on synchronization
  • SQL and scripting

Languages

For this position, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is desirable.
